Privacy Policy

Accommodation.com is a travel booking service operated by World App Developers at accomodationss.com and through the Accommodation.com Android app (package com.accomodationss.app). It lets travellers book stays, airport transfers and car hire, and lets hosts, drivers and rental desks manage their services. Privacy questions: worldappsdevelopers@gmail.com.

• Account: email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), display name, phone number, chosen role (traveller, host, etc.).
• Profile (optional): photo, bio, public email/WhatsApp number if you choose to show them as a host.
• Bookings: property, dates, number of guests and rooms, totals, booking status and references.
• Airport transfers: airport, destination, date/time, flight number, passengers, luggage, contact phone, notes, driver ratings and comments.
• Car hire: vehicle, pickup/return dates and location, driver name and phone.
• Hosting and partners: listing details, addresses and map coordinates, availability; driver and rental-desk business details (licence numbers, vehicles, contact details).
• Payments: payment amounts, status and payment references. Payments are currently simulated; we do not collect or store card numbers.
• Messages: support chat messages and attachments you send, enquiries sent to hosts, reviews you write.
• Notification settings: whether you want email or WhatsApp alerts and the addresses to use.
• Technical: sign-in session tokens stored on your device, and standard request information (IP address, browser/device type) processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the service. We don't use advertising trackers.

The Android app does not request camera, location, contacts or microphone access.

To create and secure your account; to process bookings, transfers and car hire; to connect you with hosts, drivers and rental desks; to send booking notifications; to provide customer support and optional AI translation of chat messages; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

• Supabase — authentication, database and file storage.
• Cloudflare / Lovable hosting — website and server hosting.
• Resend — booking notification emails (when enabled).
• Twilio — WhatsApp notifications (when you opt in).
• Lovable AI Gateway — translation of support messages when you use the translate feature.
• OpenStreetMap — property map display (your browser loads map tiles directly).

We share booking details with the host, driver or rental desk providing your service (for example, your name, dates and contact phone). Exact property addresses are shown to travellers only after booking. We do not sell your personal information.

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to data is restricted by account-level security rules so users can only see their own records, and passwords are never stored in plain text.

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal details are erased immediately. Booking, transfer, car-hire and payment records (dates, amounts, references) are retained in anonymised form for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes.

Delete your account in the app or website under Account settings, or from accomodationss.com/delete-account without the app.

You can access and correct your information in your profile, request a copy, object to processing, or ask us to delete it. South African users have rights under POPIA, including complaining to the Information Regulator. Contact worldappsdevelopers@gmail.com.
